Fundación INTRAS

posted on 19 de julio de 2022

INTRAS is a non-profit organisation dedicated to high quality research and intervention in the mental health field. It basically aims at improving the quality of life of people with disabilities and mental illness, as well as homeless people. INTRAS targets mostly adults, youth in working age and the elderly with cognitive impairment. We develop activities and offer different services to our target groups, such as vocational training, psychosocial rehabilitation, counselling, as well as cultural, artistic, sportive, gardening and horticultural activities. INTRAS services and programmes are based on the “Recovery approach”, which aim is to empower our service users to live a self-determined and self-confident life by considering their wishes and providing them with vocational training and employability programmes accordingly. INTRAS pays special attention and listen to the voice of its target groups demanding new programs and activities, in order to offer services which consider the possibilities of each person, boost empowerment and promote active participation in the recovery process.
