Valladolid

The event in Valladolid, celebrated on January 30, raised expectation in the local and regional government representatives, local associations and organizations working with disadvantaged collectives and persons with disabilities. Even the neighbors from the area, who were intrigued by our garden, have come to the inauguration event. In total, more than 50 participants attended. The event counted with interventions by the representatives of the City Council and the Regional Executive Government. The attendees explored the meaning and uses of a therapeutic garden together with the project staff. The staff and students of the INTRAS Foundation’s Vocational Training Gardening Department shared the process of the planning and construction of the garden. They presented the use the garden is given by INTRAS community. A guided visit to the garden was organized in small groups while the participants shared a light breakfast and networked. The event had an importan repercussion in local and national media, resulting in coverage in press and television.
